Shift: 4x10s - 40hrs - Evenings

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Scrub Technician to join our healthcare team in Rochester, NY. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and organizing surgical equipment, assisting surgeons during procedures, and maintaining a sterile operating room environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up surgical instruments and equipment for various procedures
• Assist surgeons during surgeries by passing instruments and supplies
• Maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and assist as required
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care
• Clean and sterilize equipment and instruments post-surgery
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control procedures

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credentials preferred
• Previous experience as a Surgical Scrub Technician in a healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and medical terminology
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
