We are searching for an efficient, energetic, motivated Circulating Registered Nurse to be part of our AAAASF-accredited office-based plastic surgery team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting surgical procedures by performing routine CST duties, instrument decontamination and sterilization, assisting with inventory management, ordering supplies, restocking, and ensuring efficient room turnover.

Job Description:
Surgical Assistance:
- Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures
- Ensure the sterile field is maintained throughout the surgery
- Pass instruments and supplies to the surgical team as needed
Instrument Decontamination and Sterilization:
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments according to established protocols
- Maintain and monitor sterilization equipment to ensure proper functioning
Inventory Management:
- Monitor and manage surgical instrument inventory
- Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure proper documentation
- Collaborate with the purchasing department to purchase order necessary supplies
- Receive and inspect deliveries to verify accuracy and quality
- Restock surgical rooms and supply areas as needed
Supply Ordering and Restocking:
- Place orders for surgical supplies, ensuring an adequate stock level
- Receive and inspect deliveries to verify accuracy and quality
- Restock surgical rooms and supply areas as needed
Room Turnover:
- Efficiently prepare surgical rooms for procedures
- Clean and disinfect surgical equipment and surfaces between cases
- Collaborate with team to maintain a sterile and organized environment
Adherence to Protocols:
- Strictly adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- Follow established procedures for handling and disposing of biohazardous materials
Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with surgical team members
- Collaborate with nurses, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations
Other duties as assigned
Job Types: Part-time, PRN
Pay: $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
