Responsibilities: - Schedule surgeries and procedures for patients - Coordinate with medical staff, surgeons, and patients to ensure smooth scheduling process - Obtain necessary pre-authorization and insurance verification for procedures - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation - Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality - Answer phone calls and provide excellent customer service to patients and their families - Utilize dental office software systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or eClinicalWorks - Assist with other administrative tasks as needed Experience: - Previous experience working in a medical or dental office setting is preferred - Familiarity with scheduling systems and phone systems - Knowledge of medical records management and HIPAA regulations - Proficiency in using dental office software systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or eClinicalWorks is a plus - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and experience requirements.
