Support Specialist I-Data Collection Agent (Remote Position)
- Hourly range $19.00-$25.00 depending on experience.
Toshiba America Business Solutions, a leader in digital technology, is seeking a Systems Support Specialist I, supporting the Data Collection Administration department and our internal and external clients.
Summary: Work with internal and external clients remotely to ensure the prompt and accurate collection of device data for meter billing and auto toner replenishment. Resolve problems related to networking systems, technical support for multifunction printers, and network security & protocols. May assist with installing and uninstalling applications.
- Install, troubleshoot, and resolve data collection tool issues remotely. Work with clients to resolve technical issues that impact proper data collection and auto toner replenishment systems. Advise clients on possible solutions as required. Escalate problems that are not resolved according to department escalation process.
- Communicate with other departments and groups regarding current issues and solutions. Escalate unresolved problems as needed and work with TABS Technical Service to resolve.
- Maintain knowledge of current data tool technology through reading and training. Complete required Company training as assigned in a timely fashion.
Qualifications/Experience
- High School diploma or GED and a minimum of 1-year related experience in one or more of the following areas: IT Support, networking systems, technical support for multi-functional print devices/solutions, or network security and protocols
- Demonstrated experience with software installations on client’s network.
- Must have demonstrated knowledge of MS Office Suite Software, internet software, analyzing and interpreting technical procedures, and troubleshooting customer issues.
- Must be customer service oriented with ability to prioritize and resolve issues.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal direction and ability to collaborate with cross functional teams to understand and resolve issues.
