Under the supervision of the Installation Supply Manager, the Supply Operations Coordinator (SOC) ensures that the Installation Supply Division (ISD) functions in accordance with established safety and government policies; including the planning, assigning, and supervising of employees as required. The SOC interfaces directly with all levels of military customers and government agencies. The SOC coordinates with contract and customer operations & planning personnel to develop appropriate planning, required analytics and briefing products in coordination with the Performance Work Statement or other mission documents – this position has operational oversight over the Supply Operations Center (SOC).

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
Plans and maintains operations within the ISD under the supervision of the ISD Manager.
Provides analysis as required for the effective utilization of current and/or operations, projected equipment and facilities.
Provides operational oversight over the Supply Operations Center.
Researches and develops new techniques and procedures to increase the efficiency of the supply and services division.
Develops briefings, presentations and reports as required.
Assists the ISD Manager in the review of manpower requirements and establishes workload priorities for the department.
Recommends internal priorities at assigned level, monitors operations, and provides management data and reports as required.
Completes resource requirements determination and integration of available internal and external assets (workforce composition, structure, and equipment necessary to accomplish specified tasks).
Performs staffing/recruiting, employee performance evaluation while adhering to organizational objectives and goals.
Assist with implementation of safety directives, improve safety performance, and ensure facility safety policies & procedures are aligned with governmental regulations.
Possesses in-depth expert knowledge of U.S. Army logistics and supply program relationships, concepts and methodologies pertaining to the Central Issue Facility (CIF), Ammunition Supply Point (ASP), Supply Support Activities (SSA), Subsistence Supply Management Office (SSMO), Installation Property Book Office (IPBO), Dining Facility Maintenance, and the Pre-Deployment Training Equipment (PDTE).
Reviews for accuracy, tracks for reporting purposes and submits when applicable all administration and personnel documentation as directed.
Facilitates effective communication and technical support with the Logistics Coordination Center (LCC).
Perform the duties expected as the Deputy to the ISD Manager.
Performs other duties and assignments as assigned.
MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:
Extensive use of a desktop computer and multi-functional device.
Steel Toe shoes may be required.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas. Face Mask that cover the nose and mouth are required.
Such PPE includes, but is not limited to: head, foot, hand, vision and hearing protective devices.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
This position works indoors most of the time. However, some work may be conducted outdoors in an austere environment.
Normal work week is 40 hours (5 days a week).
This position requires flexibility to work extended hours due to operational requirements.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
Must be able to lift on an occasional basis a maximum of 40 pounds.
Must be able to climb in and out of military vehicles and related equipment.
Must be able to walk on uneven ground and within work sites 2-3 hours a day in performance of duties.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum associates degree or equivalent experience.
Eight years or more of supervisory experience.
Eight years or more management experience at Army Brigade level or above in the area of Supply and Services.
Comprehensive knowledge of installation supply, services and equipment management processes, and related regulations.
Working knowledge of the following military computer programs:
Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army)
Installation Support Module (ISM)
Decision Support Tools (DST)
Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW) Capabilities
Standard Army Ammunition System – Modernization (SAAS-MOD)
Applicable Supply and Services regulations, publications, manuals
Possesses strong organizational, analytical, written and oral communication skills.
Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to pass a local background check and earn a SECRET security clearance.
Proficient with Microsoft Office programs to include experience in creating slide presentations with PowerPoint and use of Excel formulas and calculations.
Must have a valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
EXPERIENCE:
Candidate must have eight years or more in the logistics field and extensive experience managing personnel in the performance of their duties.
Preferred experience with supply and services field of operations and military planning operations.
Must be detailed oriented and organized.
SKILLS:
Ability to ensure the ISD Supply Operations Center and Supply and Services sections function in accordance with established safety and government policies; including the planning, assigning, and supervising of employees as required.
Ability to provide general guidance and oversight to the Supply and Services sections.
Ability to staff and manage the SSOC.
Ability to coherently brief leadership in regards to Supply and Services operations and planning.
Ability to utilize automation to provide Power Point presentations and Excel-based databases/analysis.
Possess knowledge of safety and environmental issues as they related to supply operations.
SUPERVISORY/BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIES:
