Window & Door Service Technician

The Window & Door Service Technician is responsible for the proper service, repair, and installation of windows, doors, and other products as assigned. Our product brands include Marvin, Wincore, Atrium, Ply Gem, Windsor, Therma-Tru, and others. Service, repairs, and installations are to be done in conjunction with manufacturer specifications. All work must be done following proper safety protocols. Service calls are for warranty and non-warranty issues, with the appropriate billing to follow completed work. This role will support all Talbert branches. The position should strive to consistently deliver the Talbert Difference to strengthen Talbert’s relationship with customers.

• Analyze window, door, and other product issues and find solutions to resolve them.
• Use hand tools to remove and replace window and door materials.
• Coordinate with customers, team members, and manufacturer reps to troubleshoot issues and order replacement parts.
• Deliver product to job sites in a non-CDL company vehicle.
• Accurately and timely complete the documentation for billing service calls to manufacturers and customers.
• Be sensitive to customer requests and work to accommodate their needs in scheduling service calls.
• Manage new construction and replacement window and door installations as directed.
• Treat contractors, subcontractors, homeowners, vendors, and team members in a friendly and professional manner.
