POSITION SUMMARY: This position in USG's Global Logistics department is responsible for managing Supply Planning for assigned product families to identify and drive supply balancing issues to resolution. Scope covers multiple businesses, products, and/or key raw materials covering multiple plants, product families / lines of business, and items to ensure USG's supply network satisfies customer demand at the lowest optimal cost.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead monthly planning meetings, present plans and recommendations to cross functional senior management team, including translating operating plans into strategic operating discussions.
• Lead complex cross-functional supply chain projects and initiatives, and efforts to analyze and resolve ad hoc operational problems.
• Develop and execute supply chain as well as functional strategies to support business plans and corporate strategies.
• Create monthly and annual supply plans and scenarios to meet forecasted demand for complex product families.
• Incorporate business unit plans, product strategy, network optimization changes, new product rollouts, and other supply chain initiatives into the planning process.
• Deliver implementation of process improvements, system enhancements, and automation opportunities. Drive process efficiencies across functions.
• Collaborate with IT partners to provide business and execution for Oracle ERP, legacy software transitioning, business intelligence development, and technology roadmaps. Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Required Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage cross-functional relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Strong project management ability and process development skills.
• Strong knowledge of supply planning and sales & operations planning methodology.
• Ability to develop and implement functional strategies and tactics to meet objectives.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Access and strong Excel user.
• Experience with Business Intelligence Analytical tools and Oracle databases. Experience with Oracle eBusiness, RapidResponse, Advanced planning applications, and Tableau preferred.

Education:
• B.A. or B.S degree (Business; Engineering, Supply Chain; or related field required.)
Experience: • 3+ years relevant Supply Planning, Capacity Planning, or Network Optimization Planning experience.
*The salary band may be adjusted based on the candidate's knowledge, skill and experience.
Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
