Jr. Supply Planner- DIRECT HIRE
$60-65k (depending on experience)
Stable and growing company located in Addison is seeking a Jr. Supply Planner who can work in a fast-paced environment to join their team! Job Responsibilities:
- Considers current inventory levels, customer demand, and production plan.
- Utilize JD Edwards for all material planning, material buying, production planning, and engineering change order activities.
- Identify the capacity of each contract manufacturers and plan production accordingly. Understand capacity and capability at each contract manufacturer.
- Communicate requirements to turnkey contract manufacturers through purchase order management.
- Responsible for replenishment buying of packaging components at Toller contract manufacturers.
- Manage relationships across the end-to-end supply chain to ensure maximum efficiency and lowest total network cost considering suppliers, transportation, manufacturing, and warehousing.
- Manage strategic inventory levels on existing products and new product launches to factor in lead-times to support overall business requirements.
- Minimize slow moving and obsolete materials. Proactively manage obsolete inventory.
- Responsible for communicating complete product specifications to our contract manufacturing partners.
- Leverage Excel, Business Intelligence (BI), and other analytics tools to improve business performance.
- Maintain item information related to component and finished goods in JD Edwards.
- Active participation in supply chain team reviewing opportunities for improvement.
- Active participation in Product Compliance team that reviews product issues and actively resolves using problem solving techniques.
- Assist with internal and external benchmarking.
- Support expansion and growth of E-Commerce business
Job Requirements:
Year(s) of Experience: 1+ year of supply chain or logistics planning experience (internship is acceptable)
Education: Bachelor's Degree required (preferably in Supply Chain)
Software: Advanced Excel (pivot tables and vlookups), ERP experience preferred
