Job description

Annapurna Labs is a semiconductor company established by semiconductor industry veterans and is now part of Amazon Web Services. We are developing leading edge products, manufactured with advanced silicon and packaging technologies, which power the AWS cloud. We offer a dynamic, open and collaborative environment.
We are seeking a highly effective Supply Chain professional to manage a semiconductor Supply Chain with multiple products in close collaboration with both internal and external cross functional teams. This role will be responsible for aspects of both NPI and production planning. This is an exciting opportunity to join an energetic and driven team.
The responsibilities include planning and management of material movements, coordination with suppliers, and support for engineering/production builds. This position will communicate status and open issues, report available to promise, prioritize and manage demand. It is a dynamic position with interaction with all levels of the organization.
The successful candidate must be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, have a high attention to detail, and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Candidates must have excellent analytical capabilities, be comfortable diving deep into data, raise the bar on delivering the right supply at the right time and communicate clearly and effectively with key suppliers and internal constituents.
The ideal candidate is a person who actively participates with a strong curiosity to understand the business end-to-end, and has a track record of using data to influence decision makers.
Key job responsibilities
* Responsible for organizing and developing production plans to align with demand forecast.
* Provide delivery commitments to internal and external customers and ensure timely delivery of products.
* Manage variables in the demand requirements such as rapid forecasts fluctuations, strategic inventory allocations, and backlog consumption.
* Work with engineering and suppliers to understand BOM components at both ASIC and board level; identify long lead time parts to ensure the availability; coordinate the additional and alternative sources for material and capacity to meet production volume and schedules.
* Provide loading plans and production releases to offshore subcontractors and ensure that the releases are executed timely and accurately.
* Plan, schedule, coordinate, track, and expedite material issues with wafer foundry, integrated chip (IC) assembly and test houses, module contract manufacturers, and component suppliers.
* Maintain data reporting, charts, WIP and inventory reports, supply availability, and shortage lists as required.
* Work with various manufacturing partners to improve delivery performance.
* Work with finance & operations on product costing, month end inventory reporting to ensure all data is captured accurately for monthly financial closing.
* Create automation and data analytics tools around Supply Chain activities to reduce redundancy in workflow and enable easy access to information for teams.
An ideal candidate must have:
* Good understanding of demand response, capacity planning, and factory loading. Ability to work with numerous priorities and meet deadlines as required. Be able to react to situations with a sense of urgency.
* Strong engineering and project management background, comfortable making decisions when fuzzy logic and limited information is presented, able to analyze quickly, defend and clearly communicate the decisions, but ask for guidance when needed - creative within boundaries, organized but able to handle chaos.
* 2+ years of working experience in ERP systems and excellent skills in Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools.
* Expertise and judgment to select stakeholders to determine the right goals, inform decisions, and design long-term solutions. Able to deliver independently and take the lead on local initiatives.
* Experience in handling complex problems/efforts, decisions, and escalations. Mitigates long-term risks. Finds a path forward in difficult situations. Makes trade-offs: short vs. long-term needs.
