The Nuna Group of Companies is now accepting resumes for a Supply Chain Manager. Preferably with large earthworks construction experience.

Type: Fulltime, Permanent
Hours: 40+ hrs. / week (Overtime when required)
Duties:
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the Supply Chain within the organization. This will include the planning, organizing, and execution of all activities including personnel administration, performance evaluations, wage reviews, work assignments, operations, etc.
- Ability to effectively manage supplier relationships.
- Strong knowledge of materials (including off-road heavy equipment, construction materials which include equipment, and services)
- Full understanding of Legal and Insurance requirements as they relate to Supply Chain processes.
- Supply Chain Management including strategic sourcing and agreements for day-to-day operations (materials and services) as well as Project specific agreements.
- Oversee field/project Supply Chain management and coordination.
- Working with the senior leadership of the business, proactively identify, aggressively pursue, and successfully implement strategic, operational, and work process improvement opportunities for Supply Chain and other areas of our business.
- Overall responsibility for vendors and subcontractors; and all associated business processes.
- Manage Supply Chain in accordance with business requirements and strategic direction.
- Participate with the extended leadership team in defining growth strategies and implementation of same.
- Develop, communicate, maintain, and improve policies, procedures and standard templates for the Supply Chain processes.
- Engage members from other departments, working effectively to drive cross-functional activities towards streamlining all business processes to ensure the most efficient processes are being used.
- Provide day-to-day leadership including coaching, development and career planning for existing personnel, as well as recruitment and succession planning for the department.
- Prepare and monitor the department budget, identify budgetary trends, and assist in planning short and long-term capital purchases.

Qualifications / Education:
- 5 years' experience in a similar role is required (Supply Chain).
- Exemplary ability to multi-task is essential.
- Previous experience and knowledge of Heavy Civil earthworks projects and mining.
- Bachelor of Commerce - Supply Chain Management degree from a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution.
