TCI, Inc. is a contract manufacturer of cosmetics and beauty products located in Southern California. We are seeking a professional to manage the Company’s Supply Chain functions, including Production Planning and Inventory Control, Purchasing, and Customer Service. The Supply Chain Manager works closely with multiple internal departments and effectively in an ERP environment. The position requires a strong leader with a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience in a process environment; personal care or contract manufacturing background preferred.
This full-time position is located in Riverside, Calif. and offers benefits and a pay range of $100k - $120k commensurate with experience.
Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Director oversees daily activities within TCI’s Inventory Control and Production Planning, Purchasing, and Customer Service departments, effectively and efficiently leading these teams to satisfy customer needs and meet company objectives.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Oversee the daily workflow of the department to ensure excellent on-time service, and quality, timely communication with customers.
- Production Planning: Efficiently plan and schedule daily plant operations to ensure a strong and effective balance of Company resources and customer service.
- Purchasing: Ensure TCI continues to maintain competitive pricing, that materials support production needs, and that pricing and production needs are aligned with inventory objectives.
- Work with major customers on site-level agreements to establish good operating guidelines that benefit both the company and the customer.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Responsible for organizational development of the Production Planning, Customer Service, and Purchasing teams to create the right structure to support a growing organization.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff within assigned departments.
- Oversee daily performance of team members, providing ongoing coaching and guidance.
- Facilitate constructive and timely performance evaluations.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related degree required.
- 5+ years of relevant Supply Chain/Operations Management experience in a process environment including 3+ years of scheduling experience required; personal care or contract manufacturing background preferred.
- Must have experience working in an established ERP environment, Epicor knowledge a plus.
