The Manager, Supply Chain Management position within the Foundry Capacity Planning team plays a very significant role within the Supply chain organization. The candidate will have complete oversight into the forecasting, capacity planning and master scheduling for a group of capacity resources. The candidate will have full accountability and will be the go-to person for all foundry capacity related topics for their suppliers and capacity resources. The candidate will have to work closely with many cross-functional teams to ensure sufficient foundry capacity reservation and utilization to meet company demand strategies and targets.
The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible to understand and influence wafer fab scheduling and delivery schedules along with capacity resource optimization within the Qualcomm foundry partners. They must be able to run different supply scenarios by factoring in fab capacity and proactively identifying and resolving supply constraints. The position will communicate regularly with foundry partners and internal sourcing, planning, finance, and business units. Monitor changing customer requirements and work with cross-functional teams to evaluate our ability to support the customer in a timely manner. The candidate must have excellent learning and analytical capabilities, be comfortable to deep diving into data, and provide in depth analysis and recommendations. The candidate also needs to have strong communication skills and can communicate clearly and effectively to all levels in a global operation environment.
Lastly, the candidate will problem solve and drive development of automated Supply Chain solutions with strong Rapid Response knowledge. They will also participate in the strategic planning, development, integration, and implementation of technology applications to support global planning processes.Along with helping develop key metrics and data analytics to enable continued growth critical to Supply Chain infrastructure.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Operations, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 7+ years of Supply Chain, Product Planning, or related work experience.
Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in process improvement and production/material management.
- A working knowledge of principles and concepts involved in production, forecasting and material management. Understand capacity and resource planning.
- Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing process
- Strong analytical skill, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to assimilate large data sets and manage complexity. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in fast paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelors’ and 7 years’ experience; or a Masters’ degree and 5 years’ experience in Product Planning, Supply Chain or Business Operations.
- Experience in Project Management, NPI planning, Demand planning, Capacity planning, and/or S&OP process are a plus.
- Semiconductor end to end process background from wafer fabrication to assembly & test process.
- Advanced experience with Rapid Response is strongly preferred.
- Experience in using Tableau, PowerBI, ClickView type of BI tool are preferred.
- Proficient in Excel (ability to create reports, conduct scenario planning)
- Excellent written, verbal, communication skills and with ability to simplify complex topics to broad audience.
- APICS CPIM certification

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
