Supply Chain Co-Op/Internship: Warehouse Operations Excellence

Job Description

Utz Quality Foods is seeking a Supply Chain Intern or Co-op – Warehouse Operations Excellence to work out of our Hanover, PA office. Gain valuable experience while networking with associates throughout the organization. Applicants must have competency in all Microsoft Office products, effective communication skills and strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Time study current warehouse ops to develop baseline requirements for labor standards with new Hanover operation
• BI reporting for warehouse ops
• Optimizing case pick operation in Birmingham, collecting data and taking direction on what they see (travel dependent)
• Rolling out DMS (distribution management system) at sites - if they can travel.  If not they can hold remote calls with operators.
• Project management details of the Cornerstone physical transition
• Project management of building readiness/vendor setup in Cornerstone transition

Job Requirements

• High level of competency in all Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
