Job Description
The Supply Chain Systems Analyst will provide crucial support to the Supply Chain organization, which manages an annual $10 billion spend on goods and services. In this role, you will focus on the development and maintenance of key Supply Chain systems, tools, data repositories, reports, and analytics. Your work will ensure meaningful and consistent data availability to enable seamless day-to-day operations, programs, and initiatives.
You will collaborate closely with internal IT teams, Supply Chain personnel, and other business units to identify system needs and develop effective solutions. A deep understanding of SAP Materials Management is essential for success in this position. You will serve as a liaison between IT and functional areas, leading system enhancements, coordinating testing, and ensuring successful implementation.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between IT, Supply Chain, and other functional business areas.
- Lead system maintenance and enhancements, coordinate scheduling, testing, and functional validation.
- Develop and generate recurring reports and complex ad-hoc queries; some database design.
- Provide system support (SAP table maintenance, mass updates, file uploads, etc.).
- Manage user roles and access to functionality.
- Develop and deliver systems-related communications.
- Work independently, seeking guidance only on the most complex issues.
- Provide direction to Analysts and Associates on system support and reporting responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (1 year of experience for each year of college)
- 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain or financial systems development and maintenance
- Extensive knowledge of SAP Materials Management functionality (understanding tables and data relationships/structures)
- Knowledge of Supply Chain processes (creating orders, inventory movements, goods receipts, invoicing, and payment)
- Proficient with SQL Server
- Experience in database design
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access)
- Advanced analytical skills
- 5-6 years of experience in logistics, Supply Chain, or financial systems development and maintenance
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree
- Knowledge of Ariba, SAP BW, S/4 HANA
- Knowledge of SAP FI/CO, PM modules
- Experience with Power BI
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work on cross-functional teams
