Job Description
We are looking for a Supplier Support Specialist to work at our client's site located in Bridgman, MI for a full-time, long-term contract position. As a Supplier Support Specialist, you will be assisting the department with vendor tracking information. You are an individual that has attention for detail and is a quick learner. We are seeking local candidates only.
Job Details/Essential Job Functions:
- Communicate both verbally and written with vendors.
- Trend OSD&D (Over, Short, Discrepant, Damaged)
- Track vendor issues
- Monitor vendor corrective actions and work through resolutions.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma or educational equivalent.
- Must be age of 18.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel experience
- Creating and answering Action Request (Ars) and General Tracker (GTs) within a Corrective Action program, preferred but not required.
- Be able to pass criminal background, drug/alcohol screen (including medical and recreational marijuana as well as CBD oil), and employment testing.
- Are a candidate local to the area
