Job Description
Corbus, LLC is currently seeking a Supplier Materials Expeditor and Contract Administrator to serve as a consultant on a material expediting and supplier issue resolution team supporting multiple sites for a world-leading multi-national manufacturing company. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Daily phone calls to suppliers that are past due on their deliveries
- Request material to be expedited
- If material is unavailable request a revised ship date / recovery plan
- Look for Alternative approved supplier that carries the same approved parts – Provide recommendation to Client Supplier Schedulers
- Information Share / Escalation
- Provide an email summary daily to the Client Schedulers on the status of the past due material and who at the supplier was contacted
- Escalate suppliers unable to provide a recovery plan
- Escalate when recovery plan is not sufficient and will impact Operations
- Actively seek digital/automation solutions on key tasks
- Work with Leadership to identify supplier delivery risks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years related experience
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills
- Quick-learner/works well under pressure/desire to excel/advance
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup, formulas)
- Works well with both supplier and client stakeholders.
- Tenacious although professional when working with supplier challenges
- Ability to prioritize and work to a strict schedule
- Bilingual English/Spanish
