This position is located in a State Office in USDA/Rural Development (RD). The incumbent serves as the state's authority for SFH direct program policies and activities. They will design, implement and direct a comprehensive single family housing loan and grant program.

Remote/Virtual Position: NOQualifications: Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement including time-in-grade restrictions, specialized experience, as defined below.
Time in grade: Current federal employees applying for a promotion opportunity must meet the Time-in-Grade (TIG) requirement of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled.
GS-13 level: Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 or its nonfederal equivalent that demonstrates: Experience processing and servicing a full range of commercial and/or complex realty loans; servicing a loan portfolio of a bank or other loan association beyond consumer loans; or similar work which provided a knowledge and understanding of the technicalities of financing and credit of loan and/or grant programs. Experience must demonstrate use of judgment in providing financial management guidance to borrowers; ascertaining and analyzing borrower's financial capacity, and evaluating the general economic and financial conditions that affect the organization risk in granting, guaranteeing, or insuring the loan; and demonstrated leadership experience providing guidance and direction to a group of employees in processing and servicing loans and/or grant programs. There is no education substitution for this grade level.
