Supervisory It Specialist (Plcypln)

This position is part of the Defense Human Resources Activity. The incumbent provide the total range of DMDC business-type, IT/IS Strategic planning and policy activities and oversee all Transition Management staff elements and contractors.Qualifications: You may qualify at the GS-15, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service:

1. Plan and execute application/database migrations from legacy data centers into government approved cloud enclaves.
2. Develop and execute IT/IS (Information Technology)/ (Information Systems) strategic planning, establish metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and policies.
3. Oversee Advanced IT activities, concepts, methods to implement cloud IT concepts such as an Agency Cloud Strategy (e.g., Service (SaaS), Platform as Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as Service (IaaS), and Cloud Security Implementation of security principal and methods) to protect cloud-based infrastructure, application and data.
4. Plans, directs, and coordinates operations through subordinate supervisors.
5. Plans work for subordinates, setting and adjusting long and short-term priorities and preparing schedules for
   completion of work.

Status candidates must meet time-in-grade requirements (52 weeks at the next lower grade level).
