Description
JOB SUMMARY: Each Hub Supervising Prevention Consultants work together to plan and implement programs in schools and communities. Each Hub Supervising Prevention Consultant is responsible for supervising the team of prevention consultants.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsibilities: Responsible for planning and implementing programs in schools and communities. Establish alliances with organizations which have similar or allied goals, such as, school board, local law enforcement, healthcare providers, community centers and service providers. Will serve as a customer service role model to ensure a positive relationship in interactions with all participants, applying schools and community. Provides supervision to a team of prevention specialists who will provide trainings and workshops to community and youth. Implements evidence-based prevention services and curricula with fidelity.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Computer literacy
SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS: 3 years of supervisory experience
Position Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in a related field (e.g., counseling, public administration, social work, etc.) required. Experience in community organizing, developing community partnerships, implementing evidence-based programs and project management. At least five (5) years' experience working in social service environment implementing evidenced based practice models; three (3) years of which shall be in a supervisory capacity. Note: Valid New Jersey driver's license, safe driving record, and vehicle availability are required.
Preferred candidates will have experience working with and empowering at-risk youth and marginalized communities by conducting prevention education (e.g., substance abuse, pregnancy prevention, mental health, and wellbeing session, etc.) activities.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS NEEDED: Master's Degree in a related field (counseling, public administration, social work, etc). Note: Valid New Jersey driver's license, safe driving record, and vehicle availability are required.
