Description
In collaboration with PSF's Family Resource Center leadership team, the Prevention Conusltant, a grant-funded position (through the Children's Trust of Alachua County), will be involved in the growth and expansion of family support services within Alachua County by advising and supporting other community organizations who operate or are seeking to operate a Family Resource Center within their own municipality. Using the guiding principles of Partnership for Strong Families' (PSF) Resource Center Model, the position will assist with identifying participating organizations and will develop and implement personalized consultation plans to include trainings, on-going coaching, meetings, and special events. The position will also assist with programmatic data collection, reporting, continuous quality improvement processes, and program evaluation. The position will report to the Director of Resource Centers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Assist other community organizations with the development and/or expansion of Family Resource Centers within Alachua County utilizing the PSF Resource Center Model.
• Coordinate activities related to PSF's Family Resource Center Consulting Program.
• Assessing community readiness and viability to open and sustain a Family Resource Center.
• Develop and implement personalized consultation plans with participating organizations.
• Provide regular coaching sessions to assess progress, identify potential barriers, and strategize next steps.
• Co-facilitate prevention-focused trainings and/or webinars for community groups, with topics including but not limited to the Strengthening Families Protective Factors Framework, Standards of Quality for Family Support Programs, grant writing and fund development, and community collaborations.
• Organize meetings and special events related to the program.
• Collaborate and network with community partners who are an essential part of successful service delivery and expansion.
• Provide supervision and coaching for program staff.
• Assist with programmatic data collection, reporting, continuous quality improvement processes, and program evaluation.
• Assist with contract oversight and monitoring.
• Manage program budget and assist with fund development related to sustainability.
• Work closely with community relations and other teams to develop marketing and training materials, including flyers, brochures, and social media posts.
• Display an understanding of, and sensitivity to, service population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
Bachelors' degree in Social Work, Non-Profit Management, Public/Business Administration, or a related field is required, with a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of three years' experience in child welfare, project management, and/or social services is also required.
Special Qualifications:
Possession of a valid, State of Florida driver's license to operate the motor vehicle operated. Requirement exists at the time of hire and as a condition of continued employment
