Kontoor Brands' Summer Intern Program is packed with projects, networking socials, cross-functional learning, and the chance to connect with industry trailblazers like our Executive Leadership Team. Previous interns have taken on projects as subject matter experts and social architects to engineer solutions through social media, Go-To-Market strategies, and denim designs. Participants can also take advantage of opportunities to explore interests in Social Issues, Sustainability, Career Fairs, Community Outreach and more. Program Overview:

• Full-time paid internship
• Must be local or willing to relocate to Greensboro, NC

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program at a College/University and able to receive a paid internship
• Eligible to work in the US without restrictions
• Have previously demonstrated leadership skills through school, extracurricular activities and/or community involvement
• Exceptional at taking on challenges and using your particular set of skills to create solutions
• A self-starter, ability to work with others in a team environment, with a passion for helping others
• Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)

Project Role: Technical Design - Lee Men's
The Development Technical Design Intern is a Summer Internship to assist the Technical Design team in daily tasks related to product development. In this role you will gain experience and a thorough understanding of the product creation process from design to production. You will use 3D technology to create new styles and silhouettes, develop fitting skills, and create 3D concept garments including construction, styling details, trims, and fabric properties.
Key Responsibilities:

• Train in 2D and 3D patternmaking software to elevate skill level and better assist patternmakers.
• Communicate and work with cross functional teams to assist with special projects
• Support the pattern team with daily tasks and processes including organizing samples, auditing garments, creating presentations, and building virtual assets.
• Test fabrics to upload into virtual database

Skills for Success:

• Flat pattern and draping experience
• Ability to Sew and Construct Garments
• Introduction to CAD Patternmaking Software (preferably Accumark)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
• Exceptional communication skills

Experience/Education:

• Currently enrolled student in an Apparel Program
• Highly Self-motivated
• Embodies a passion for apparel and innovation
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
• Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks
