Summer Intern - Quality Engineer
As a Quality Engineering intern, you will be a part of a team supporting the Security manufacturing facility. You will be required to analyze and provide feedback to manufacturing associates, process and design engineers and the business. You will learn to identify, rectify and document quality challenges that occur from vendors, internal manufactured inventory and the manufacturing processes themselves.
What You Will Do:

• Deepen your understanding of production and quality process to support manufacturing.
• Participate in manufacturing security devices.
• Work with a team to identify root cause and facilitate corrective actions for both day to day production issues as well as major production disruptions.
• Obtain the experience to create a foundation for growth and future opportunities with Allegion.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline, e.g. Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• Resiliency and ability to adapt quickly.
• An inquisitive nature that seeks to understand concepts and principles about manufacturing and the Allegion business practices
• Effective listening, time management and creative problem-solving techniques
• A desire to learn, grow and develop by working on projects that will impact Allegion's business and customers

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

• The expected Base Hourly Range: $18-$23 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
