In the advertised role, the candidate will have the benefit of working closely with, and learning from, seasoned professionals across many verticals who have worked with some of the most notable sports franchises in the country.
This position has been created to help provide an entry into the sports industry and give individuals hands-on experience with the day-to-day sales and consulting operations of a leading sports marketing agency.
What You'll Do:
- Work with our Property Consulting team in identifying potential sponsorship opportunities for existing and potential clients
- Research category spenders, up and coming brands and potential leads for a growing list of sports properties
- Update and manage PIVOT's proprietary naming rights database
- Research properties to determine sales representation opportunities (NR, jersey, events).
- Use 3rd party syndicated tools to pull contact and demographic information for our sales team
- Continually educate oneself on, and maintain awareness of, relevant industry events, publications, and announcements with the purpose of identifying meaningful trends, influential people and burgeoning brands
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to build out custom proposals.
- Making outreach to potential brands with the goal of setting up sales calls for our Property Consulting team
- Assist the PIVOT executive staff on special projects as requested
What You Will Gain:

Requirements
Required Education and Experience:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing or other related disciplines (or recent graduate)
- Knowledge of sports and/or professional leagues such as MLB, NFL, NBA, MLS, NWSL, PPA, NHL, NCAA.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Effective self-starter
- Excellent presentation, written, and oral communication skills
- Acute attention to detail, organization and efficiency
- Experience using MS Office and Google Suite
- Knowledge of Esposrts & Gaming, Women's Sports, and Venue Naming Rights
- Familiarity with CRM software and digital marketing tools.
