Summer day camp staff

THIS IS A SUMMER JOB ONLY

Staten Islands largest day camp is hiring camp counselors and other staff for Summer 2024. Must be at least graduating HS or going into 12th grade or currently in college. Experience with children is desirable. Camp this Summer is from July 1st to August 223rd plus a couple of mandatory staff trainings in June. The job is perfect, (but not necessarily) for college students majoring in Education or child related fields, sports' related majors, coaches and DOE employees. You will be supervising groups of campers from 4-13 years of age, leading them sports, activities, themes, special events and trips. Must be enthusiastic, responsible and love children.

We also seek experienced "specialists" to supervise campers in various activities like gymnastics, chess, aerobics, music, art, STEM, fishing, tennis, dance etc. Also EMT's & Nurses, Etc.. You’ll be responsible for planning & overseeing these activities,

Most jobs are full day, 5 days a week for 8 weeks, but some PT positions may be available
