Compensation: $16.00 per hour for 20 hours/week for 10-weeks in the summer (May 20-Aug 16).

Summary:
The Community Maintenance Assistant is responsible for assisting the Maintenance Staff Members in completing tasks that ensure the community meets safety, appearance, and operational standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the community, including the grounds, amenities, and interior and exterior of the building.
- Complete the "turn" process (including painting and floor cleaning) in empty suites for move-in by new residents.
- Assist with accessing and removing tools, supplies, equipment, and other materials from the maintenance areas.
- Follow operating and safety policies and procedures, and comply with federal, state, and local laws and ordinances.
- Complete paperwork and other documentation associated with work orders.
- Attend all staff meetings and training programs and participate in on-going training with the McCartney Residences staff on an as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma.
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. and navigate up/down stairs.
- Demonstrate proficiency in verbal communication.
- Possess strong customer service skills.
- Must have troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Work Hours
Twenty hours per week in shifts Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
