We are currently looking for a Field Quality Assurance Intern to join our team. The position will be located in Smyrna, TN at our Field Quality center and will be a full-time role for the summer of 2024.
During the course of your internship, you will have the chance to:
- Identify and investigate engineering issues potentially impacting safety and/or regulatory compliance by analyzing cross functional data sources with Product Safety, Technical Compliance, and Field Quality Investigations.
- Investigate incidents with data analysis, part collection and testing, or vehicle-level incident investigation (on-site or scramble to customer location).
- Support handover of complete investigations to the Vital Issues team for TM/TC process
- Report investigation status weekly to FQA management.
- Regular collaboration with cross functional groups for issue investigation including but not limited to R&D, FQI, PQE, NML, CQ0 and CC0.
In order to qualify for this role, you must:
- Currently be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automotive, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering or a related field
- Have a GPA of 3.0 or above
- Strong organization ability with keen attention to detail
- Be self-motivated and willing to challenge yourself to develop your talents and skill sets
- Strong communication skills both written and oral
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Access, etc.
