Shawnee Public Schools has partnered with ESS to manage our Substitute program. Please
follow the instructions below and apply with ESS.
Greetings,
ESS is excited to announce that we've partnered with Shawnee Public Schools Schools to manage their substitute program. ESS is an experienced managed services organization that provides talented and qualified substitute professionals to K-12 school districts.
As you've already been notified, in order to continue as a substitute for Shawnee Public Schools, you must become an employee of ESS. Together, we will continue to provide exceptional educational services to the children to SPS, helping students learn, grow, and thrive.
We're eager for you to join our team as soon as you successfully complete the application process, submit the required paperwork, and update your credentials- we're here to help every step of the way.
In order to familiarize you with our organization and collect the employment data we need to seamlessly bring you onboard, it is very important that you attend one of our upcoming orientation sessions:
Virtual Orientation Sessions Held via Zoom
Monday, January 30th | 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Before Your Orientation
Prior to attending your orientation session, please create an ESS profile by following the instructions below:

• Click here to go to the application link
• Click the blue "Apply" button on the job post
• Enter your email address, click "Start," and follow the prompts to create your profile and submit your application.

Once your initial application is completed, the following documents can be filled out online:

• Offer Letter of Employment, Employee Manual Acknowledgement, 401k Acknowledgement, and Emergency Contact Form
• Arbitration Agreement
• Health Insurance Marketplace Form
• Certificate(s) of proof of your highest level of education
• Be ready to show proper identification to verify your employment eligibility (see the list of I-9 acceptable documents)

Members of our Human Resources staff will be available at each orientation session to assist with quickly processing your paperwork and answering any questions you may have.
