Tandem Behavioral Health Mental Health and Substance Abuse clinic Roanoke, VA. We are professional, inclusive and collaborative. We provide outpatient individual and group counseling for children and adults. We also have a new ASAM 2.5 Partial Hospitalization program for Adults.

Substance Abuse Counselor Responsibilities:
- Provides both individual and group counseling sessions for our Partial Hospitalization Program
- Plan, oversee, facilitate and document patient's recovery.
- Facilitate or Co-Facilitate assigned group or family sessions as needed.
- Ensure all documentation regarding patient care, treatment, and incidents is completed timely and in a clear, concise manner.
- Follow individual treatment plans for each assigned patient, and provide updates as needed.
- Evaluate patient needs and determine if referrals to other programs or facilities are needed.
- Participate in treatment team decisions for discharge
- Provide crisis intervention to patients, as needed.
- Provide case management duties for patients
- Act as a liaison between referral sources and patients, as needed.
- Complete random drug screens, as needed
Licenses/Certifications:
CSAC or CSAC-S (with at least 1 year of experience)
Please note that the primary responsibility of this job will be planning and facilitating groups for the Partial Hospitalization program. The groups for the partial hospitalization program runs for 5 hours per day.
We are looking for someone that has a heart for this population. We are looking for someone that is energetic and can keep client engaged in group and excited about their treatment
This position will work Monday-Friday 10am-6:30pm. You will have the option to work remotely from 10am-1pm, at which time you will report to the clinic to run groups, after completion of training.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
