Job Description:

At Regions, the Subpoena Processing Specialist processes incoming subpoenas, Internal Revenue Service (IRS) summonses, and other related requests for bank documents.

Primary Responsibilities

• Processes incoming subpoenas, IRS summonses and other related requests for bank documents
• Analyzes and interprets requests to identify and produce responsive documents
• Applies established practices and policies throughout the course of processing
• Escalates non-routine matters and complies with established Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering standards
• Works closely with internal personnel to locate responsive documents
• Works closely with outside entities, i.e., law enforcement, attorneys, etc., to compile response
• Maintains and updates case management database and files
• Prepares appropriate responsive correspondence and business record affidavits
• Invoices for costs associated with production where appropriate
• Focuses on daily deliverables of routine and defined outputs under direct supervision

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Requirements

• Associates degree
• One (1) year of experience in legal or related field

Preferences

• Bachelor’s degree
• Knowledge of banking systems, i.e., Mainframe, Webview, etc.

• Strong computer/typing skills
• Strong organizational skills

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Median:

$43,700.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:
