Job description and Job duties:
- Experience with, knowledge of, and/or familiarity with DoD CIO and DoD Components organization and structure.
- Experience managing multiple tasks and projects to completion without supervision.
- Experience with or knowledge of DoD Workforce Strategy and management.
- Ability to strengthen the IT Acquisition Workforce by providing support to manage the IT Acquisition career field competency model, certification standards, career paths, and position category descriptions.
- Support the development or revision of supplemental guidance and communication products.
- Support efforts to clearly communicate the DoD CIO's vision/strategy and approach for achieving programmatic goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders such as the Defense Civilian Personnel Advisory Service to draft or revise supplemental guidance and communications products to assist in developing or amending workforce policies, procedures, and associated workforce supplementary guidance documents.
- Ability to develop and deliver concise written artifacts related to DoD Workforce Strategy implementation plans.
- Previous experience interacting with Government senior leaders and military personnel.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid organization skills and attention to detail.
