Job Description
The primary responsibilities of the Manager are to recruit, train, and develop their team of Instructors. In addition, the Manager grows new membership sales by setting monthly objectives to help the studio reach its goals through the management of lead generation, nurturing and retention. The Manager takes a hands-on approach to the business in order to motivate their team and foster a positive work environment. This position requires the ability to teach challenging group fitness classes. The ideal candidate has the right blend and proven background in sales, customer service, team management, and player/coach attitude.
Kickboxing experience is not necessary however Group Fitness Sales knowledge or a fitness training background is preferred but not required. A flexible schedule is a must. The business operates 7 days a week. Occasional travel may be required.

Essential Job Functions
● Build, lead and develop a team of instructors
● Manage operational budget
● Set and manage monthly sales targets to grow new membership sales
● Distribute responsibilities to staff, monitor sales statistics and manages expectations through regular communication
● Manage employee conflicts, performance and disciplinary issues, and termination
● Conduct regular performance reviews, identify, and clearly communicate goals, expectations and any area for improvement
● Create and administer staff schedule
● Provide guidance and direction to staff on teaching classes, membership presentations and creating a fun, safe, and welcoming environment
● Grow and develop local business to business relationships to enhance membership sales and benefits
● Utilize social media to market, network and engage members and potential members in addition to making sure staff is engaged in social media updates and posts
● Participate in Franchise related bootcamps and training
● Complete and prioritize daily studio checklist including but not limited to maintaining a clean studio, answering phones, scheduling appointments, restocking supplies
● Promote the iLoveKickboxing brand and culture
● Build rapport with staff, members, and potential members
● Resolve member complaints
