Position Overview

WT Studios is seeking a high-impact, experienced Client and business development lead, responsible for growing our footprint in the NA region by supporting the VML & WPP NA offices, managing existing NA & Global Client relationships and developing New Business opportunities in the region

The ideal candidate would have a solid combination of a proven track record of NB capabilities as well as managing and growing existing client relationships, the candidate would required to be expertly versed in digital production, marketing outsourcing and CRM.

The position demands an Entrepreneurial minded individual, with high energy; strong motivation to sell and excellent sales, presentation and relationship skills.

The Client and NB Lead will work closely with the WT Studios leadership team in pursuing long term relationships with the world's leading brands and be comfortable speaking to Fortune level, CMO/VP level decision makers across a diverse set of vertical industries for both B2B and B2C organizations

Specifically the Client and NB Lead would Support VML & WPP NA offices by

  • Selling WT Studios capabilities to all VML & WPP NA Offices
  • Be the production representative on WPP, WT Studios and VML Pitches
  • Work as a liaison between WPP & VML offices and our Production Hub teams in the region
  • Building winning pitch decks, writing SOWS and presenting at C-Level meetings
  • Assess potential profit increases by migrating existing local capacity into our centralized operation

And would also be responsible of growing our direct to client business by managing and expanding existing relationship in NA as well as building and managing our prospecting and lead generation channels including:

  • Cultivation of WPP Group lead opportunities,
  • Targeting of fortune 1000 procurement companies
  • Executing inbound and outbound marketing programs,
  • Competitive analysis,
  • Industry thought leadership

Specific Responsibilities

  • Work with the Head of PM at local WPP & VML offices to find opportunities to support local client engagement through our centralized production hub in NA
  • Be the Hub advocate within the WPP and VML network around production work, ensuring client satisfaction, work as an escalation point and address any delivery issues as they relate to our internal clients
  • Work to identify, pursue, and close New Business opportunities that meet the agency's requirements for deal size, required capabilities, category focus, and market visibility
  • Lead the evaluation of opportunities, manage stakeholder engagement, conduct high-level requirements gathering, and facilitate the sales process
  • Manage prospect and client relationships, including onboarding and project initiation, and provide regular face time with key decision makers, ensuring the agency is always kept front of mind
  • Create a transition plan for new wins and lead its development into day-to-day operation
  • Work with clients to establish operational and performance goals; monitor performance of WT Studios to ensure we are meeting client KPI's
  • Facilitiate QBR's and Client visit' strategies and materials to explore opportunities to sell new capabilities to existing clients
  • Contribute to refining the WT Studios growth strategy by defining market trends, vertical targets, and positioning, while minimizing the cost of sales and maximizing efficiencies and closing rates
  • Expand WT Studios knowledge and awareness within WPP by meeting and engaging with key WPP stakeholders, supporting holding company pitch processes and WPP RFP responses

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in advertising, marketing, communications, psychology or similar area preferred
  • 8-10+ years experience running client account
  • 8-10+ years experience developing and growing high-touch client relationships
  • 1-2 years' experience in managing outsourced production in a global environment
  • Proven expertise and track record on growing existing clients including finding and developing new opportunities
  • Experience in managing large global clients with outsourced production in a global environment
  • Proven expertise and track record of creating winning marketing materials
  • Proven expertise and track record on growing existing clients including finding and developing new opportunities
  • Expert knowledge of direct marketing strategies, tactics, methodologies, tools and production for both the B2B and B2C environments
  • Broad knowledge and expertise on managing fortune 500 clients in a wide variety of industries
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and influential communication skills are critical
  • Strong strategic planning and campaign management background, including campaign performance evaluation and development of actionable strategies based on key learnings
  • Prioritize and allocate resources to various and dynamic initiatives
  • Maintain a sustainable balance between enterprise needs and that of specific business groups
  • Develop project plans, including scope definition, timelines, and deliverables
  • Passion for production on digital, CRM and analytics
  • Technical understanding of production advantages
  • Self-driven and able to manage and prioritize workload for self and teams
  • Ability to manage senior stakeholders
  • Outstanding communications skills, both written and oral
  • Knowledge of digital marketing operations
  • Self-starter and a team player

A Hybrid working model

Now offices are fully open we have embraced a hybrid working model, which allows our employees to split their time between the office and other locations, something we hope will provide everyone much more flexibility to their working week. The expectation is that working life at Hogarth will involve working from the office for about 50% of the time for most people. The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $100,000 – $230,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
