The primary responsibility will be inventorying and organizing academic DVDs since the library will stop storing them. They will also be responsible for researching and finding alternative streaming videos for the physical DVDs.
Job Responsibilities
- Working with the library’s academic DVD collection.
- Researching and contacting academic departments that can use the DVDs.
- Helping to find streaming videos for the physical DVDs.
- Assisting with the weeding of books and other materials.
- Providing general support to librarians and library staff as needed.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhering to library policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be a current student at the university.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to take on various tasks as needed.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of library systems and processes is a plus, but not required.
