JOB PURPOSE:
Provide support in assigned work areas (EVS, Dietary, Patient Greeter), following established policies and procedures.
1. Assembles and delivers meal trays according to hospital policy and patient's menu on tray tickets in a timely and accurate manner.
2. Adheres to facility confidentiality and patient's rights policy as outlined in the facility's HIPAA policies and procedures.
3. May maintain nourishment stock in all required areas of the hospital, which may include but is not limited to patient rooms, nursing stations and physician lounge(s).
4. Ensures quality customer service throughout cold food or grill station production.
5. Prepares cold food items according to Piedmont Healthcare's established recipes and initiates assembly order.
6. Ensures safe and proper handling of all food items according to HACCP Guidelines.
7. Assists other team members in washing and storing on dishes, pots, and small wares and back up on grill.
