Delta Air Lines is seeking students and alumni who attended a Delta partnered 147 accredited school for multiple opportunities in the Aviation Maintenance industry. Through this opportunity, you will be provided formal training, enhanced development and coaching opportunities.
Summary of responsibilities:
- Maintains or repairs some or all of the following: aircraft, aircraft engines, aircraft components and avionics systems according to the companies and FAA specifications
- Performs inspections during assembly of part and after repair or installation of component
- Documents maintenance procedures to include; component damage, component origin, and condition of component, components or equipment
- Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Must be able to read and write English at a level to comprehend and apply information contained in technical manuals
- Certain duties may require working in confined spaces for a periodic time
- Must achieve a satisfactory score on the mechanical aptitude test which is structured to determine the ability to perform essential job functions
- Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including rotating/fixed shifts, holidays and weekends
- Embraces diverse people, thinking and styles

WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS)
- Airframe and Powerplant license is preferred.
