- Manage and process curricular change requests.
- Liaison with the Office of Athletics and Athletic Academic Center to conduct initial and continuing academic eligibility assessments of all student-athletes in compliance with NCAA DI rules and regulations.
- Maintain a database of Banner program codes and the list of faculty/staff members authorized to submit and vet change requests.
- Update the undergraduate program database to align with the undergraduate academic curriculum.
- Provide academic history data points on all student-athletes.
- Continually contribute to iterative process improvement, seeking new methods and technologies for gaining process efficiency and accuracy related to job responsibilities;
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, faculty, and staff to provide excellent and prompt customer service.
- Review and correct issues identified through daily data integrity reports.
- Cross-train with team members to assist as needed during high-volume seasons; and
- Maintain a high degree of integrity and exercise confidentiality following university policy and local, state, and federal regulations such as FERPA and HIPAA.
Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
University Preferred Qualifications:
Graduation from a four-year college or university and two years of administrative or office management experience in the Student Services or related field; or equivalent. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
- Serve as the point of contact and resolution for undergraduate program change requests.
- Participate in the NCAA academic eligibility review process.
- Participate, as a team member, in process improvement projects.
- Complete education verifications for club/intramural sports.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Pursue and participate in professional development to grow the position and self.
- Support other teams in the Office of the Registrar during peak times; and
- Review and respond to Salesforce cases in a timely manner.
- Work at Commencement ceremonies held in May and December. Will be required to work two weekends a year.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience;
- Minimum of three years in a paid administrative role.
- Prior work experience in Higher Education
- Familiarity with Ellucian Banner, ImageNow, Microsoft Office Suite, or other similar systems;
- Familiarity with evaluating NCAA Athletic Eligibility; and
- Intermediate Experience in MS Office and Google Suite
