Job Summary:Provides quality care and assistance to residents in accordance
with the community
philosophy, policies and resident rights.
• Observes residents within patient care policy guidelines and
immediately report any
conditions requiring attention to the Nurse.
• Assists residents in meeting their physical, emotional, and
spiritual needs.
• Adheres to each resident’s individual service plan, notify
the wellness director and nurse
of any changes in the resident’s condition.
• Ambulates and transfers residents as needed utilizing
appropriate assistive devices and
body mechanics.
• Assists residents with their activities of daily living
• A High School Diploma or GED
• Stand/walk up to 8 hours a day.
• Sit up to 2 hours a day.
• Frequently support up to 70 pounds.
• Occasionally lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently kneel, bend, and reach.
• Desire to serve and care for seniors
