SalaryResident Assistants, in providing daily care to residents, are constantly on their feet and regularly engage in lifting, bending, stooping, twisting, pushing and pulling. Tasks are those that regularly require these physical activities, although because residents may need care and assistance at any time, Resident Assistants may unexpectedly be required to do these physical activities at any time. Duties include: working with the Resident Services Director and the rest of the operations team to build relationships and strong communication with residents and families to ensure adjustment to Colonial, identification of needs and problems, and the development of the appropriate plan of service for each individual resident. Also providing assistance with Activities of Daily Living to meet the residents physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity.
