What You'll Do:
- Provide assistance with resident's Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while providing the resident with comfort and dignity.
- Serve and assist residents in the dining room during breakfast, lunch, and dinner mealtimes.
- Communicate effectively with the care team, including nurses and other caregivers to ensure seamless communication about residents' needs or concerns.
- Monitor residents for any change in condition, such as suspected illness, falls, or other signs of distress.
- Engage in activities, exercise programs, and social events to encourage residents to get involved.
- Demonstrate a positive and respectful attitude with residents, families, visitors, and management.
General Working Conditions:
While working 12-hour shifts, our caregivers spend a lot of time standing. Shift times are from 6:00am to 6:00pm and 6:00pm to 6:00am. Shifts vary, but we hire with the expectation that our aides are open to working weekends and holidays.
