Description:
Pace University is seeking a Research Assistant (RA) to support a grant-funded project focused on assessing the Pocantico River Watershed (PRW). The RA will be part of a team of faculty, graduate, and undergraduate students. The focus of this position will be to conduct a stakeholder review and policy analysis in the watershed.
Applicants must be enrolled in a degree program focused on environmental studies or science, ecology, or a related field.
The ideal candidate will have experience with policy analysis. They should also have strong communication skills (both verbal and written), and be comfortable working independently.
The proposed start date is May 13, 2024, and the position will run until June 30, 2024. This position is funded for approximately 20 hours/week at an hourly rate of $17. Start/end dates and hours worked may have some flexibility. Applicants must be available to work during the day during the week.
