Job Summary

The Learning CenterStudent Assistant could function in a number of capacities to support programming and services of the Learning Center. These positions include supporting students in their course work through peer education, assisting with front desk customer service, and facilitating workshops and bootcamps.

Responsibilities

Assist Students in Content Review - 75%
Will work with students collaboratively to review content.
Customer Service - 25%
Will assist customers by answering questions for walk-in traffic, serve as a greeter at the front desk, and work with students utilizing the Center.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Must have HS diploma or equivalent.
Must be enrolled in Georgia College & State University.
Must have a 3.0 or higher GPA.
Other Required Qualifications
Friendly, engaging, organized, and have a want for helping others.
Required Experience
Enrolled at GCSU

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

SKILLS
Effectively use (or willing to learn) technology in this role to communicate with students, plan sessions, and assist in peer learning.
