Location Statesboro Campus - Statesboro, GA Department Information Department of Computer Science Job Summary The Student Assistant will support the Department of Computer Science on the Statesboro Campus beginning Summer 2023.
Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period. Responsibilities Work with mentor to design and implement robot fleet control software. Research and implement technologies and solutions for interfacing with and control of warehouse robots.
Design and implement web-based software in support of a warehouse robot demonstration. Shift Specifics Up to 30 hours per week for 10 weeks during Summer 2023 Flexible with schedule of availability Required Qualifications Educational Requirements Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University. Preferred Qualifications Preferred Education Successful completion of Introduction to Software Engineering (CSCI 3321) or equivalent with a "B" or higher Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field Preferred Experience Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Programming Languages, include Java, C, C++, and/or C#.
Proposed Salary $15.45 per hour This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
