Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervisors and coordinate activities of workers engaged in the fabrication of miscellaneous and Structural Steel.
Training employees, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance.
Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of the product.
Studies blueprints and shop drawings details.
Inspects work in progress and finished products per HMB Quality Control Plan.
Interprets company policies for workers and enforces safety regulations.
Plans or adjusts work hours to meet production schedule.
Maintains time and production records.
Confers with internal and external customers to coordinate schedules.
Qualifications:
At least 3-5 years of welding, fabricating and fitting (layout)
Experience in miscellaneous and Structural Steel fabrication is a must. This includes stairs, handrails, ladders and embeds.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating plans, and procedure manuals.
Ability to use Microsoft Office required.
Have ability to move up to 50 pounds.
