Structural Engineer

Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Structural Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Structural Engineer in Baltimore, MD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Structural Engineering designs for DOT projects to include sign structures, overhead signs, bridges, retaining walls, and culverts
• Structure condition inspections
• Perform load ratings/analysis
• Prepare design plans, preparing cost estimates and specifications
• Coordinate with other agencies and permitting authorities
• Structural analysis and design (LARS, Merlin-Dash, STAAD, MicroStation, AutoCAD, Bluebeam)
• Remedial engineering and new structures design
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil or Structural Engineering
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• A PE license in any state with ability to obtain in Maryland within six months of start date
• The Ideal Candidate Will Have Any/all Of The Following
• Experience in preparing Structural Engineering design for DOT projects
• Experience in preparing design plans
• Experience in preparing cost estimates and specifications
• Experience serving as a technical lead on transportation and facility structures design projects
• Experience in coordinating with other agencies and permitting authorities
• Structural analysis and design software experience (LARS, Merlin-Dash, STAAD, MicroStation, AutoCAD, Bluebeam)
• Remedial engineering and new structures design project experience
