Responsibilities
- Assist supervisor in managing, administering, and coordinating and designing of projects;
- Review designs submitted by consultants.
- Review disciplines of civil and structural and coordinate with architecture, plumbing, mechanical and electrical designs.
- Inspect construction projects.
- Assist supervisor in management of consultant work.
- Coordinate with building users and review work effort for acceptance to the university.
- Serve as the Water Conservation Coordinator by coordinating campus activity for compliance with the Governors Executive Order.
- Serve on the water conservation committee.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
- Five years continuous professional practice.
- Experience with operating CADD systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- EIT Professional Engineering License
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Skill in the operation and use of CADD systems.
- Knowledge of GIS.
- Ability to conduct construction/site inspections.
- Project Management.
- Access performance of contractors.
- Ability to be understand and discuss engineering technology issues; to learn new requirements in the field including reforestation, storm water management, and other conservation initiatives.
