POSITION DESCRIPTION
MMSA, Inc. is looking for talented STRUCTURAL DESIGNERS. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial, federal, healthcare, collegiate, multi-family and industrial projects and collaborate with a talented team of professionals.

The ideal applicant will have design experience with concrete, masonry, wood and/or steel material types. Evaluations will be based on structural design experience with these materials. FLEXIBLE WORKPLACE

• This position is remote.
• Structural design software will be provided for the successful applicant.
• Successful candidate will need access to a reliable laptop or desktop computer capable of running structural design software and a reliable stable internet connection when working remotely.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of relevant structural engineering design experience with commercial buildings
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
• Must be a professional, detail-oriented, self-motivated team-player

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of AutoCAD design experience producing 2D/3D drawings and models for various structural engineering projects
• 5+ years of Autodesk Revit design experience producing 2D/3D drawings and models for various structural engineering projects

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop drawings from sketches and/or specifications submitted by Engineering team and adjust red-line changes as required
• Coordinate with Engineering team to produce structural drawings using REVIT and/or AutoCAD
• Manage multiple projects under strict deadlines in a fast-paced team environment
• Interact with other professionals and clients with professionalism
