Senior Design & Product Engineer

As a Senior Design & Product Engineer for Zonit, you will work with our Engineering, Manufacturing & Sales staff to design, build and support our unique, patented displacement products. This high-impact role is critical to Zonit's continued growth and success.

What you'll do:

· Understand, master and extend our existing products.

· Help drive the design and implementation of our product roadmap.

· Work with product planning, marketing, services, software & hardware engineering, and other cross-functional partners to think big and shape our go-to-market strategy.

· Support Zonit’s contract manufacturers in their manufacturing and test processes.

· Work with our contract manufacturers as needed to qualify alternate component options or resolve other manufacturing bottlenecks.

· Assist with development of customer presentations and coordination of product technical content to insure accuracy.

Requirements:

· 10+ years of relevant experience

· A 4-year degree in a relevant field or demonstrated equivalent knowledge

· Strong knowledge of analog and digital control methods, designs & mechanisms

· Experience with AC/DC power supply design, automatic transfer switches preferred

· Good knowledge of high voltage PCB design (up to 480V)

· Significant experience with UL and other regulatory compliance

· Skill with product packaging and space/component layout

· Good mechanical aptitude and skills

· Must be a strong communicator, of both technological issues, solutions and product knowledge to sales, technical and business users.

· Need to be able to do this well both in-person and on the small screen (Zoom).

· Possess demonstrated excellent analytical, written, verbal communications, and documentation skills

· A good understanding of data center infrastructure power and cooling systems is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
