Strategy Realization Program Manager

Overview:
This individual will be responsible for supporting the leadership and management of Enterprise Technology Strategy efforts within the Technology Strategy and Program Delivery within Technology Services.  Responsibilities include providing thought leadership and ensuring the successful completion of high priority tasks for our Enterprise Technology Strategy Program.  In addition, this individual will assist with special projects of a strategic nature directed by the TS&PD Leader.   
Major Job Responsibilities:
Create and lead the new Strategy Realization Office (SRO).  Solid focus on Value Realization.   Experience in developing business and/or technology strategies and associated tactical plans.  Strong capability to facilitate workshops and meetings.  Excellent communication skills with strong ability for technical writing and polished PowerPoint presentations applicable for Executive-level consumption.

• Value Realization
  • Define a new value realization approach and partner with technology and business leads for implementation
  • Work with TO Leaders and business executives to ensure alignment and gain support
  • Define key KPIs and metrics to ensure successful delivery and value is realized by the business
  • Build a visual view (dashboard) to share progress and continued benefits with the CFOs and customers
  • Integrate the current project delivery lifecycle into the value realization approach

  • Partner with personnel throughout the Technology Organization and the Business to development and enterprise technology strategies
  • Drive and integrate thought leadership into strategy development activities
  • Facilitate workshops to support strategic development efforts
  • Facilitate and support Enterprise Technology Strategy Meetings involving all levels from staff analyst to senior executives
  • Ensure timely publication and refresh of strategy deliverables
  • Program Management Execution, Setting and Monitoring of Tasks/ Resources/ Deadlines associated with overall strategy development efforts
  • Project Management of Individual Enterprise Technology Strategy Development

  • Facilitate workshops to support strategic planning efforts

  • Maintain and document Strategy development and strategic planning methodology and process

  • Create templates and examples for deliverables
  • Translate and simplify requirements for continuous improvement of the methodology
• Strategy Program Governance and Communication
  • Support tracking and oversight of strategy program efforts and associated deliverables
  • Drive transparency and communications across all impacted TO and Business stakeholders
  • Generate, store and update communication deliverables and disseminate to intranet sites for enterprise-wide consumption
  • Create Governance deliverables to demonstrate program status and progress
• Strategy Implementation
  • Partner with Strategy Owners and Technology Organization Leadership to implement and realize value from strategies
  • Develop consolidated status reporting on strategic implementation progress
  • Work with Strategy teams to apply this model
  • Capture and communicate forward progress and value obtained
• Participate in other Strategy Collaboration Efforts

Degree Requirements:
College graduate preferred: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, computer information systems, or a related discipline.
Required Skills:

• Understand enterprise technology strategy, current industry drivers, and prevalent technology trends
• Experience with development of strategic plans and tactical planning concepts
• Experience supporting and/or leading consulting engagements
• Strong communication including written, oral, and presentation skills
• Strong facilitation skills
• Design and deliver high quality documentation with great attention to detail
• Apply knowledge and understanding of business analysis concepts, principles, and techniques to gather, document and manage strategy materials
• Multitask and change direction in ever changing environment
• Work proactively, independently or within a team environment
• Collaborate with all levels of Leadership including executives, Technical Leads, and Business Subject Matter Experts to ensure strategy acceptance
• Perform technical writing, editing and enhancement of existing materials

How will the contractor be using their technical skills?

• Creating various high impact deliverables leveraging Microsoft Office tools with a heavy focus on PowerPoint
• Leverage strategy, strategic planning, and technology skills to facilitate strategy deliverables, strategic planning methodology enhancement, strategy program governance, communication, and implementation
• Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio, Skype, Yammer, OneNote, SharePoint, OneDrive.
• Certifications PMP, CBAP, Six Sigma are a plus.
