This Strategy and Operations Intern will be responsible for supporting our Health Economics-Payment Innovation team in designing payment innovation, strategizing competitive incentives, analyzing micro- and macro-operations, and supporting other projects as necessary.
The Elevance Health Summer Internship Program is a 12-week immersive experience designed to provide students with real-life, challenging project work, improve business acumen, provide exposure to senior and executive leadership, and the opportunity to learn more about the healthcare industry! Interns will participate in career and professional development activities and networking events with other interns and associates.

How you will make an impact:
Perform complex market and competitive analysis to support business solution development
Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative payment solutions
Support business case and ROI analyses
Engage with cross-functional teams to support value-based care payment models and special projects
Minimum Requirements:
Currently enrolled in an applicable program of study at an accredited college/university
Preferred majors include: Business Administration, Business Analytics, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Health Informatics, or related field of study
Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills
Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is preferred
The ability to be adaptable and flexible based on the needs of the business is preferred
Passion for the healthcare field and a dedication towards excellence and personal career development is greatly preferred
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $18.62 to $27.93
