Strategic .Net Developer

Job Description

Looking for an experienced, strategic .NET Developer for research, design, and development of new web applications and systems, as well as keeping existing applications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop multitier web applications for customers and internal users including but not limited to .Net, .Net Core, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Web API, JavaScript frameworks, and jQuery.
• Enhance/Migrate and support Desktop and web applications that support business activities.
• Works on payment processing systems and develops integration solutions using web services, and API.
• Design, develop, keep, and enhance systems based on business requirements using approved technologies and coding standards.
• Works closely with the Applications Team to understand the business and functional requirements of Applications / Website Projects.
• Works with liaisons to keep and enhance their applications.
• Create technical design documents using SDLC standards.
• Develop Microsoft SQL 2019 database and .NET middle-tier objects.
• Develop user interface using the latest .NET technologies.
• Monitor and perfect systems to ensure the best performance.
• Perform unit testing using tools like MS Test, and NUnit.
• Document code appropriately for maintainability.
• Communicate with product owners and business analysts to gather correct specifications for new enhancements and applications.
• Translate requirements and use cases into technical designs and functional code.
• Collaborate with different teams and team members on projects.
• Function as a mentor to other developers with programming issues.
• Perform design and code reviews and help maintain code quality, performance, and application responsiveness.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.
• 7+ years C#, web development experience.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, web application architecture and, relational database design, relational database design, and SDLC.
• Proficient in ASP.NET, MVC, C#, Web API, Webservices and JavaScript, and jQuery with a solid understanding of their ecosystem.
• Experience using T-SQL with an ability to write SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Client-side scripting experience with JavaScript frameworks, such as JSON, Angular, and jQuery a plus.
• Expert understanding of cross-browser compatible web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap with proven knowledge of web (responsive and mobile) best practices.
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2019/2022 (MVS) and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) 2019.
• Proficient in writing T-SQL code, ETL, and SSIS in Oracle and SQL Server 2016/2019 environment (minimum 5 years of experience) including writing complex stored procedures.
• Proficient understanding and experience of using code versioning tools like GitHub.
• Experience in the development and deployment of secure web applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to learn and implement modern technology solutions.

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE - In addition to those skills and experience listed above, knowledge/experience of the following is a plus:

• Experience in mobile responsive website development is a STRONG plus.
• Working Experience and understanding of using payment gateway processing systems is a STRONG plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: Up to $48.00 per hour
